In the summer of 2021 we found an adolescent eagle with an injured right wing in one of the pastures. We were able to carefully and successfully capture it and met with the Eagle Rescue team from the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. They brought the eagle to their facility, The Grey Snow Eagle House, where they worked diligently to rehabilitate this adolescent. Unfortunately the adolescent's wing was too severely injured so he became a permanent resident at the Grey Snow Eagle House so children can have the opportunity to view a bald eagle close up. While we would rather he was free to fly, apparently it was just in his card. We are grateful for The Grey Snow House and all that they are doing to preserve, protect and educate on the Bald Eagle!
